Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has publicly criticised her nephew’s wife, Judy Austin, accusing her of hypocrisy after the latter shared marriage advice online.

Rita Edochie questioned how Judy Austin could advise young women against actions she herself engaged in, recalling that Judy had become pregnant for Yul Edochie while he was still married to May Yul Edochie.
She described the guidance as misleading and inconsistent, asserting that Judy’s attempts to portray herself as a moral role model online were unfounded.
In a lengthy Instagram post, Rita emphasised that advice should stem from personal integrity and truth, not from actions one is guilty of.
She argued that individuals who have lived by questionable values are unfit to counsel others, warning that such guidance could confuse and mislead young women.
The veteran actress concluded her post by urging Judy Austin to stop presenting contradictory counsel, stating that “a broken vessel cannot teach others how to remain whole.”
