A resident, Tanimu Ibrahim, told Daily Trust that the attackers fired sporadically into the air before seizing four men and two women.

The assailants also raided a nearby house while fleeing, abducting two additional individuals who later escaped.

A community leader, speaking on condition of anonymity, identified the victims as Saifullahi Harisu, Yakubu Yunusa, Abba Minkailu, Yusha’u Sadiku, Maryam Abdullahi, and Aisha Yakubu.

According to the leader, the kidnappers contacted the community on Friday morning, demanding a N30 million ransom before abruptly disconnecting.
