Ahmadu Fintiri, Governor of Adamawa State, on Friday officially defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress.

In a statewide broadcast, Governor Ahmadu Fintiri said he decamped with his entire cabinet and all Peoples Democratic Party officials in the state.

The governor stated that the decision was made in the developmental interest of the people of Adamawa State.
