NAPE Technical Meeting 2026, sponsored by BOCA Energy, unites oil and gas leaders to advance offshore exploration and industry collaboration

The Nigerian Association of Petroleum Explorationists (NAPE), led by Mrs Olajumoke Cecilia Ajayi FNAPE, will hold its highly anticipated March Technical/Business Meeting on Wednesday, 18 March 2026, in Lagos.

The event is proudly sponsored by BOCA Energy Resources Limited, a leading indigenous energy solutions provider.

The meeting, themed “From Swamp to Deep Water: Designing Fit-For-Purpose Site Surveys Across Nigeria’s Offshore Blocks,” aims to address the evolving technical demands of Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.

It will explore sophisticated site survey methodologies, data acquisition, and interpretation strategies critical for deep-water exploration while maintaining safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility.

Mr James Ukachukwu, Chairman and Managing Director of BOCA Energy, and Mr Reginald Onyirioha Ofoegbu, Executive Director, will serve as panelists.

Technical insights will be delivered by Mr Christopher John Alger, Principal Geophysicist and Technical Partner at BOCA, recognised for his expertise in geophysical exploration.

Mr Esan Mascot Ogunjemiyo FNAPE will chair the occasion.

The meeting offers key advantages for attendees, including knowledge sharing and capacity building through presentations from global experts, networking with senior industry professionals, and engagement on regulatory and policy alignment.

Participants will gain insights into best practices for offshore exploration while connecting with operators, service providers, and policymakers.

The NAPE Technical Meeting 2026 will be held virtually, allowing participation from across Nigeria and internationally.

The session begins at 11:00 a.m. WAT, accessible via Zoom.
