Davido made the remarks during an appearance on the Official UK Afrobeats Chart Show with Eddie Kadi, where he reflected on his career achievements and future musical direction.

According to him, his previous work already achieved international reach, and he now wants to return to what he described as his authentic artistic identity.

The singer has built a global reputation through collaborations with several international and African artists, cementing his position as one of the leading figures in Afrobeats.
