In an earlier interview with Chude Jideonwo, Lateef Adedimeji recounted proposing to Mo Bimpe over the phone and acknowledged that she had faced online trolling over delays in childbirth, which she handled with notable composure.
On New Year’s Day, the actor expressed optimism about their future, declaring that 2026 would mark their best year yet while giving thanks for their journey so far.
The couple also shared affectionate moments during Valentine’s Day, with Lateef Adedimeji describing Mo Bimpe as his source of calm and constant inspiration.
As part of the celebration, he surprised her with a thoughtful arrangement that included food items, customised gifts, and a storybook inspired by their relationship.
Marking their fourth anniversary, Lateef Adedimeji organised a heartfelt surprise featuring a room filled with roses, flowers, and cake, revealing that he planned the gesture in the early hours after a film shoot.
During their fourth traditional anniversary, he described Mo Bimpe as the greatest gift in his life, while she, in turn, praised him as her safe haven and steadfast partner.
Their colleague, Olayinka Solomon, had also offered prayers for the couple, expressing hope that they would soon be celebrated as parents of twins.
Lateef Adedimeji had previously revealed that both he and Mo Bimpe once resolved not to marry within the film industry, a decision that changed after they met.
He also disclosed that differences in religious backgrounds initially posed a challenge in their relationship, which they later overcame.
