Chioma’s Coachella post sparks reaction from Davido as the celebrity wife shares rare photos from the global music festival

Nigerian chef and public figure Chioma Adeleke, wife of music star David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, surprised her husband and fans on Tuesday after sharing a rare set of photos from the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.

Chioma Adeleke, who is known for maintaining a low profile online, posted images from her appearance at the high-profile event held at the Empire Polo Club in Indio.

The post, captioned “OBOChella week 2”, quickly drew attention across social media platforms.

David Adeleke reacted in the comment section with visible astonishment, writing, “She posted wow”, a response that underscored the unexpected nature of the update from his wife.

Chioma post marks a notable moment for the mother of two, whose public appearances have often generated significant discussion.

Over the weekend, Chioma Adeleke made her debut at the globally recognised festival, joining a growing list of Nigerian personalities attending the event.

Earlier this year, Chioma Adeleke accompanied David Adeleke to the 68th Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, where her outfit sparked mixed reactions online.

While some social media users criticised the sheer dress she wore, Chioma Adeleke responded directly to a commenter, stating she would not shy away from repeating her fashion choices.

Public commentary on her style has extended beyond social media users. Ossai Ovie Success, a political aide in Delta State, previously expressed disapproval of her Grammy appearance, arguing that it did not reflect Nigerian cultural values.

The remarks triggered further debate about personal expression and public expectations of celebrity figures.

Chioma Adeleke has also been the subject of online conversations regarding her appearance.

In 2024, observers commented on her slimmer physique following photos from a family outing and her twins’ birthday celebration, with reactions ranging from concern to admiration.

Despite periodic scrutiny, Chioma Adeleke continues to command attention with selective but impactful public moments.

The post has once again placed her in the spotlight, blending celebrity culture with a touch of unpredictability.
