Qing Madi JTon Music sabotage allegations emerge as singer accuses ex-label of removing her song after a legal dispute

Nigerian singer Qing Madi has accused her former record label, JTon Music, of attempting to sabotage her career following the removal of her collaborative track “Pepper Me” with fellow artist Zinoleesky from Spotify.

Qing Madi Speaks Out on Alleged JTon Music Sabotage surfaced on Tuesday after the 19-year-old took to Instagram to express anger over what she described as deliberate interference with her music distribution shortly after her departure from the label.

In a strongly worded post, Qing Madi alleged that the label’s actions came after a legal dispute in which, according to her, they filed a $1 million lawsuit against her and subsequently lost the case.

She further claimed that the situation reflects a pattern similar to past controversies involving other Nigerian artists.

The singer drew a comparison with fellow musician Cynthia Morgan, suggesting that the same individuals she believes previously undermined Morgan are now targeting her career.

Qing Madi vowed to take all necessary steps to ensure the track is restored on streaming platforms, insisting that she will not be deterred despite the ongoing dispute.

As of the time of filing this report, JTon Music has not issued any official response to the allegations, leaving the claims unaddressed publicly.

The dispute adds another layer of tension to ongoing conversations around artist-label relationships in Nigeria’s fast-evolving music industry, where contractual disagreements have increasingly spilled into the public domain.
