KWASU discontinues its Top Up/HND conversion programme from 2025/2026 academic session in compliance with NUC regulations
Kwara State University has announced the discontinuation of its Top Up/HND Conversion programme beginning from the 2025/2026 academic session, in compliance with directives from the National Universities Commission.

KWASU Top Up programme discontinuation was confirmed in an official statement issued by the institution, which explained that the decision aligns with regulatory standards set by the National Universities Commission.
According to the university, the move is part of efforts to ensure strict adherence to approved academic policies governing higher institutions in Nigeria.
The statement further noted that the commission is expected to provide guidance on the status of students already enrolled in the programme in due course, offering reassurance that affected candidates will not be left without direction.
The KWASU Top Up programme discontinuation underscores the institution’s commitment to regulatory compliance and ethical academic practice, as it continues to align its operations with national education standards.
Registrar Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee signed the statement, reaffirming the university’s dedication to upholding policies set by relevant authorities and maintaining institutional integrity.
