Champions League team of the season unveiled by UEFA as PSG claim five spots following their successful title defence
The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has unveiled the 2025/26 Champions League Team of the Season, with Paris Saint-Germain dominating the selection after successfully defending their European title.

The announcement came a day after Paris Saint-Germain defeated Arsenal 4-3 on penalties in the Champions League final to secure a second consecutive crown and cement their status as Europe’s leading club side.
The Champions League Team of the Season features five Paris Saint-Germain players, the highest representation from any club, reflecting the French champions’ impressive campaign.
Among those selected is winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who was named UEFA Player of the Season and occupies a midfield role in the elite XI.
Midfielder Vitinha also earned a place in the team after being named Player of the Match in the final.
Paris Saint-Germain captain Marquinhos and left-back Nuno Mendes were selected in defence, while forward Ousmane Dembélé completed the club’s strong representation in attack.
Premier League side Arsenal contributed three players to the prestigious line-up despite falling short in the final.
Goalkeeper David Raya was named goalkeeper of the season following a series of outstanding performances throughout the competition.
Defender Gabriel Magalhães and midfielder Declan Rice also secured places in the team after playing pivotal roles in Arsenal’s run to the final.
German champions Bayern Munich provided two players in the final selection.
Attacking midfielder Michael Olise was included after a breakthrough European campaign, while striker Harry Kane earned recognition for his prolific goalscoring displays.
The remaining place in defence went to Marcos Llorente of Atlético Madrid.
The selection highlights the dominant influence of Paris Saint-Germain throughout the tournament and serves as recognition for several standout individual performances during the campaign.
The 2025/26 Champions League Team of the Season is composed of David Raya in goal; Marcos Llorente, Marquinhos, Gabriel and Nuno Mendes in defence; Michael Olise, Declan Rice, Vitinha and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in midfield; and Ousmane Dembélé alongside Harry Kane in attack.
