The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Grassroots Sports Development, Hon. Adeyinka Anthony Adeboye, has extended warm birthday felicitations to the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Nilayo Sports Management Limited, Mrs. Yetunde Olopade, describing her as one of the leading figures whose vision, innovation, and commitment have transformed the business of sports in Nigeria.

In a goodwill message to commemorate her birthday, Hon. Adeboye applauded Mrs. Olopade’s remarkable contributions to sports marketing, event management, corporate partnerships, and the commercialization of sports, noting that her work has helped redefine how sporting events are packaged, promoted, and delivered in Nigeria.

According to the SSA, Mrs. Olopade has consistently demonstrated that sports is not only a platform for competition but also a viable industry capable of creating jobs, attracting investment, promoting tourism, and contributing significantly to national economic growth.

“Mrs. Yetunde Olopade belongs to a generation of sports administrators whose vision has changed the narrative of sports business in Nigeria. Through excellence, innovation, and professionalism, she has helped prove that sports is one of the country’s most promising economic frontiers.”

Hon. Adeboye noted that under her leadership, Nilayo Sports Management Limited has become a respected brand across Africa, successfully delivering world-class sporting events that continue to place Nigeria on the global sporting map.

He described her as a quiet achiever whose attention to detail, passion for excellence, and ability to build strategic partnerships have earned her admiration across the sports industry.

“There are individuals whose impact is measured not only by the events they organize but by the standards they establish. Mrs. Yetunde Olopade has touched sports development with what many describe as a golden hand. Every project she leads reflects quality, credibility, and innovation, and because of her contributions, the future of sports marketing in Nigeria will never be the same.”

The SSA further commended her commitment to youth development and grassroots sports, noting that successful sports administration extends beyond the field of play to creating sustainable opportunities for young talents, sports professionals, and entrepreneurs.

He said the continued success of sports in Nigeria would depend on visionary leaders who understand the intersection of sports, business, technology, tourism, and investment—qualities he said Mrs. Olopade has consistently exemplified throughout her career.

Hon. Adeboye also acknowledged her support for initiatives that advance Nigerian sports and her role in encouraging collaboration among government institutions, corporate organizations, and development partners in building a stronger sports ecosystem.

“As we work towards repositioning grassroots sports under the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, we celebrate professionals like Mrs. Yetunde Olopade, whose dedication and expertise continue to inspire confidence in the future of Nigerian sports. Her journey is proof that excellence, integrity, and hard work remain the foundation of lasting success.”

On behalf of the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Grassroots Sports Development, Hon. Adeyinka Anthony Adeboye wished Mrs. Yetunde Olopade continued good health, greater wisdom, renewed strength, and many more years of outstanding achievements and impactful service to the development of sports in Nigeria and across Africa.

Happy Birthday, Mrs. Yetunde Olopade. May your years ahead be filled with greater accomplishments and continued success.
