Flora Egbedi, a Big Brother Naija Season 11 housemate, was informed at the Big Brother house in Nigeria on Thursday, August 6, 2026, that she had been selected as one of the show’s undercover Gambits, a twist that left her emotional as she accepted the secret responsibility.

During her diary session, Big Brother revealed that Flora had been chosen for the special assignment and instructed her to keep her identity as a Gambit hidden from fellow contestants throughout the competition.

“Flora, you are the Gambit. From this moment on, your identity as the Gambit must remain a secret. If you reveal your identity, you may be disqualified,” Big Brother told her.

“I will try my best. I do not think staying longer is enough,” Flora responded, acknowledging the pressure attached to the unusual assignment.

Unlike regular housemates, Gambits are not competing for the ₦160 million grand prize. Instead, they will remain in the house as secret agents tasked with carrying out special missions designed to influence conversations, relationships and events without revealing their identities.
