Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City have agreed a £75m Savinho deal in London with the 22-year-old Brazil international set to undergo a medical before completing a move to north London.
The agreement includes a further £10m in potential add-ons, taking the possible value of the transfer to £85m.

The agreement represents a significant breakthrough for Tottenham, who have pursued Savinho for more than a year after an earlier attempt to sign the winger was unsuccessful.
The Brazilian opted to remain at Manchester City last summer, but limited opportunities eventually reopened the door to a move.
Savinho is expected to sign a long-term contract with Tottenham once the medical formalities are completed.
The move would make the Brazilian one of the most expensive additions of Tottenham’s ambitious summer recruitment campaign.
Manchester City signed Savinho from fellow City Football Group club Troyes in 2024 after an impressive loan spell at Girona, where he scored nine La Liga goals during the 2023-24 season.
His creative qualities attracted considerable attention, with BBC Sport noting that he produced eight Premier League assists and created 46 chances in his first City season.
His subsequent progress at the Etihad Stadium, however, was less straightforward.
Savinho found himself competing for attacking positions and made only seven Premier League starts last season, according to reports.
That lack of regular football became increasingly important as Tottenham renewed their pursuit.
Savinho had already made his desire for greater playing time clear.
In July, reports said the winger had informed Manchester City of his wish to leave in search of more opportunities and further development.
The Brazilian had previously expressed his enthusiasm about his football at City.
In an interview published by Manchester City in 2024, Savinho said: “I want to play with joy and get the City fans on their feet.”
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola also previously highlighted the winger’s contribution when competition for places intensified.
Guardiola said: “the contribution from Jeremy or Savinho have been massive.”
The transfer therefore marks a notable change from Guardiola’s position in August 2025, when Manchester City were determined to keep Savinho despite Tottenham’s interest.
BBC Sport reported at the time that City had informed Spurs that they would not entertain offers for the Brazilian during that window.
Tottenham’s pursuit has now finally succeeded, giving head coach Roberto De Zerbi another attacking option as the club continue an aggressive rebuild.
Spurs have already committed heavily to the squad this summer, with Sandro Tonali and Mateus Fernandes among the major midfield additions.
Reports indicate that Tottenham’s overall spending has moved beyond £300m, although around £140m has been recouped through player sales including Cristian Romero, Djed Spence and Luka Vuskovic.
The recruitment drive may not end with Savinho.
Tottenham remain involved in discussions over Manchester City forward Omar Marmoush, while Liverpool winger Cody Gakpo is also understood to remain on the club’s radar.
For Manchester City, Savinho’s departure forms part of a wider squad reshaping.
The club have been active in the transfer market and are considering replacements for the Brazilian, with Palmeiras winger Allan Elias among the players reported to be under consideration.
The deal also carries an intriguing element of unfinished business.
Tottenham’s interest began when Savinho was still establishing himself at City, but the club’s persistence has eventually produced a breakthrough at a substantially higher price than the figures discussed during the original pursuit.
Savinho now faces the final step before the transfer becomes official.
If the medical is completed successfully, Tottenham will have secured a dynamic 22-year-old winger whose pace, dribbling and creativity offer De Zerbi another potentially powerful option in attack.

The timing is particularly striking, with Tottenham due to begin their Premier League campaign away to Brentford on Saturday, while Manchester City host Bournemouth on Sunday.
