Nigerian dancer and entertainer Poco Lee has spoken publicly for the first time after his release from detention in the United Kingdom, insisting that his conscience remains clear and thanking musicians Burna Boy and Rahman Jago for standing by him during the ordeal.

Poco Lee addressed the situation during a video call with social commentator VeryDarkMan, where he maintained that he did not commit the alleged offence that led to his detention.

“As I didn’t do anything, my mind is pure,” Poco Lee said.

The dancer said he spent about 10 hours in detention and described the experience as an unsettling period, particularly because of the uncertainty surrounding the situation.

Poco Lee also spoke warmly about the support he received from Burna Boy, saying the singer remained firmly behind him.

“You know how Burna Boy is? If he is with you, then he is with you hundred percent,” Poco Lee said.

He explained that his biggest concern during the incident was for the people around him, particularly Rahman Jago, who he said was unable to attend to some of his business and social-media responsibilities while the situation unfolded.

“My only concern was my people because Rahman Jago couldn’t do anything business-wise or social-media-wise,” Poco Lee said.

The dancer said he was surprised when he later woke up to messages from people questioning his involvement in the alleged incident.

Despite the uncertainty, Poco Lee said he remained positive and maintained his belief that the matter would be resolved.

VeryDarkMan, who expressed support for the entertainer during their conversation, also defended Poco Lee against criticism from people questioning how he was released.

The episode has generated considerable discussion online, with social media users offering contrasting reactions to Poco Lee’s account and the circumstances surrounding his detention.
