The Osun State government has advised residents to take precautionary measures as temperatures rise across the state.
In a public advisory, the government urged citizens to avoid wearing heavy clothing and to ensure proper ventilation in their homes and workplaces.
Authorities also stressed the importance of staying hydrated, noting that adequate water intake is key to preventing heat-related health challenges.
The advice comes amid increasing temperatures recorded in several parts of the country during the dry season.
Residents have been encouraged to limit outdoor activities during the hottest periods of the day and to pay special attention to vulnerable groups, including children, the elderly and those with underlying health conditions.
