Yemi Osinbajo, Vice President has responded to accusations that the former EFCC boss gave him N4billion.
Sources reported that Yemi allegedly ordered Magu for the release of some of the recovered loots.
However, on Wednesday, following a statement by Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Laolu Akanda labeled the report has sham.
Akande justified that the Vice President has never engaged in such criminal activities.
He said, “Inundated by wide circulation of Fake News about VP’s purported involvement in some EFCC recovery billions, please rest assured they’re all LIES: calculated to confuse and concocted to smear Prof. Osinbajo’s image.
“The VP hasn’t and will never be involved in any such shady activities.”
