It is indeed a sad Monday as 21 storey building has collapsed on Gerald Road, in Ikoyi area of Lagos.
According to a close source, the owner of the collapsed building, which was under construction, has two others still standing beside the unfortunate one.
“It’s a very sad of occurrence because ever since foundation of that building, almost 90% of people interested in purchasing the apartment when completed had paid,” a source who didn’t want his name mentioned told Freelanews.
It was also alleged that the popular Fuji musician, K1 De Ultimate, paid for the penthouse.
Several media reports claim many victims of the unfortunate are trapped, but the exact number is yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.
However, a new video that emerged claimed that the owner of the building, Femi Osibona, is one of those trapped.
