A deputy Inspector General of Police in command of the Force Criminal Investigations Department, Joseph Egbunike, has died.
At the late hours of Tuesday, Egbunike, a native of Onitsha, Anambra State, reportedly slumped and died in his Abuja office.
Until his death, Egbunike was the chairman of the Special Investigation Panel set up by the Inspector General of Police, Usman Baba, to look into charges of money laundering against Abba Kyari, the suspended head of the Police Intelligence Response Team.
