‘List of committee members’ CCC Worldwide unfolds burial plans for AMSE Akingbulugbe

The apex authority of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide has named a Central Burial Committee to organize the final funeral rites of the late Shepherd in Charge of the Celestial Church of Christ, Olowu Parish, Lagos Island, Assistant Most Superior Evangelist Gbekeleoluwa Gabriel Akingbulugbe, M.P.I.C.

The late AMSE Akingbulugbe, who recently joined the saints triumphant was also the founding Shepherd in Charge of Celestial Church of Christ, Holy Mary Cathedral, Alaba Oro, Lagos.

According to the release shared with Freelanews by the head of media, Superior Evangelist Kayode Ajala, the Central Burial Committee’s Chairman is Assistant Venerable Superior Evangelist Abayomi Ilori (Shepherd in Charge, C.C.C. Lagos Central Parish, Osapa London).

AVSE Ilori would be supported by Special Venerable Most Senior Evangelist Mobolaji Ajasa as Vice Chairman and Superior Evangelist Abiodun Adenariwo as Secretary. Mother Celestial Mojisola Alegbe would serve as Treasurer of the Committee.

Also on the membership list of the Central Burial Committee are the Lagos State Evangelist, Venerable Superior Evangelist Ogunrombi, Divisional Heads and Secretaries, 7 Members of the All Saints Remembrance Committee, the Ondo State Evangelist Venerable Superior Evangelist Fesojaiye, representatives of the deceased’s family, representatives of C.C.C. Olowu Parish, representatives of C.C.C. Alaba Oro Parish, 2 representatives from the Clergy Council, 2 representatives from each Division in Lagos, 2 representatives from C.C.C. Sides Men and Women, 2 representatives from C.C.C. Prophets and Prophetesses, 2 representatives from C.C.C. Central Choir and 2 representatives from C.C.C. Women Council.

Tentative dates for the final funeral rites are as follows:

Tuesday, 11th October, 2022: Night of Praise at C.C.C. Holy Mary Cathedral, Alaba Oro, Lagos.

Wednesday, 12th October, 2022: Service of Songs in Lagos (Venue and time to be announced shortly).

Thursday, 13th October, 2022: Body moves to his home town, Ode Aye, Ondo State/ Wake Keep at Ode Aye, Ondo State. Time: 4.00 pm/ 10.00 pm till dawn: Music.

Friday, 14th October, 2022: Interment at his home town, Ode Aye, Ondo State.

Sunday, 16th October, 2022: Thanksgiving Service at C.C.C. Olowu Cathedral, Lagos Island, Lagos.

“Further information concerning financial contributions from Divisions would be passed down through the Divisional Heads. Thank you,” SE Ajala submitted.
