In a recent statement, he said he started feeding people of Agboyi-Ketu every 10th-11th of December to mark as a remembrance of his father Chief Olu Lawanson,he said he chose 10th-11th because his Father’s birthday is on the 12th of December.

He started this philanthropic movement in 2021 and he fed over 5000 people,he called this movement COLD which stands for Chief Olu Lawanson day.

A bonafide son of the soil, from the Lawanson Aborishade ruling house in Lawanson Surulere Lagos state.

In 2022, this good act of charity evolved when he founded Chief Olu Lawanson Foundation.
To mark this growth, the foundation hosted a football competition alongside the food drive of feeding 5000 people in Agboyi-Ketu

The football competition is a reoccurring one that is called Agboyi-Ketu Unity cup.

The purpose of the competition is to bring the youth of Agboyi ketu together because a whole lot of killings was going on in the community at the time.Mr Oludare is indeed man of the people who live for the people, not only does he say it,he show it in his selfless contributions to his community even after his father’s demise.

In the football competition, cash prizes are given to the winners.

This year 2023,the foundation also launched its water project themed Clean water for the people of Agboyi-Ketu. The aim of this project is to create a number of water borehole facilities in strategic areas of the community to solve the serious scarcity of clean water, this made it easy for residents to have easy access to water.

The foundation is on the water project now till December when it will host the Agboyi-Ketu Unity cup and the food Drive again.Useful items like clothes, shoes, food ingredients, toys for kids and various basic needs will be given out to everyone in the community.

Regardless of his father status in the society ,Mr Oludare Lawanson has amassed so much for himself. He is a business man and a politician. He holds a first class bachelors degree in Information technology (IT) from Lovely Professional University (LPU) India. He holds a masters degree in Information Technology Network Security from Conestoga University in Ontario Canada. He is on the board of directors of A.O Lawanson Nigeria LTD and Bridget Platinum Insurance brokers, and Co-founded Barbeque and Booze Lounge. But his never-forgetting creation would continue to be the Chief Olu Lawanson Foundation and his philanthropic devotion toward humanity.
