A prominent leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adamu Garba, has expressed his disappointment with the current economic issues that the country faces.

His wife bought sacks of rice for an astounding N75,000 apiece, a substantial increase from the N53,000 price tag seen in late December, he revealed in his account of a startling illustration of the skyrocketing prices.

The APC chieftain urged leaders to exhibit sensitivity to the plight of ordinary citizens, emphasizing the need for restraint in public displays of opulence, particularly during these trying times. Garba highlighted the adverse impact of ostentatious gestures by government officials, asserting that such actions tarnish the government’s image and exacerbate public discontent.
