Adegbodu Twins robbery shocks fans as gunmen invade family home days after burial of Taiwo Adegbodu

The incident occurred on Tuesday evening at about 9pm, throwing the family into panic and fear at a time already marked by grief.

Kehinde Adegbodu disclosed the Adegbodu Twins robbery in a video shared online on Thursday, stating that the attackers carted away clothes, shoes, mobile phones and gold, among other valuables.

Kehinde said he was not at home during the invasion, explaining that he had travelled to Osun State when the attack took place.

He added that his late brother’s wife alerted him to the situation, prompting an urgent return.

The singer described a terrifying scene in which family members, including children, were confronted by armed men.

Kehinde Adegbodu said the children were visibly shaken after witnessing the robbery.

In a troubling detail, Kehinde Adegbodu recounted that one of the assailants made phone calls during the operation, suggesting they were searching for money believed to be linked to burial donations.

Kehinde clarified that no such funds were kept at home, explaining that contributions received for Taiwo Adegbodu’s burial had already been used, including for completing an unfinished building where the late singer was laid to rest.

The Adegbodu Twins robbery has heightened concerns about the family’s safety, with Kehinde Adegbodu issuing a heartfelt and urgent plea for peace.

Kehinde Adegbodu said the family now feels vulnerable and appealed for forgiveness from anyone who might feel wronged, despite insisting he had not knowingly offended anyone.
