The vibrant display of culture, unity, and hospitality drew numerous dignitaries, friends, and well-wishers to the heart of his hometown.

Hon. Kuye, a seasoned legal practitioner and politician who has represented the Shomolu Federal Constituency since 2015, utilised the festive occasion to honour both his faith and his profound cultural roots.

The celebrations underscored his enduring connection to tradition and his significant role as a bridge between grassroots communities and national leadership.

Among the esteemed guests gracing the occasion were former Ogun State Governor and current Senator, Otunba Gbenga Daniel, Alhaji Bashir Abiodun Akerele, Barrister Adeshina Adeoye, and Hon. Kunle Ogunade.

These prominent personalities joined Hon. Kuye and other notable figures in marking the Ileya (Eid-el-Kabir) and Ojude Oba festivals with remarkable grandeur and grace.

The gathering, comprising friends, political associates, traditional leaders, and community members, fostered a warm, familial setting that resonated with the values of respect, unity, and festive celebration.

Hon. Kuye’s dedication to public service is well-documented, evidenced by his extensive political achievements which include serving as chairman and executive secretary of Shomolu Local Government, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Lagos State, and Senior Special Adviser to the Minister of Labour.

This dedication extends equally to his unwavering commitment to community and cultural heritage.

This year’s Ileya and Ojude Oba event transcended a mere festive gathering. It served as a powerful reaffirmation of Hon. Kuye’s integral role as a custodian of tradition, a unifier of people, and a public servant who profoundly understands the power of connection between the past and present, and between the populace and their leadership.
