Tragedy hits Yoruba film industry as Adeshina Okiki Janmole dies

The Yoruba film industry is mourning actor Adeshina Okiki Janmole, who reportedly died in a tragic road accident

The Yoruba Nollywood industry has been thrown into mourning following the reported death of actor Adeshina Okiki Janmole in a fatal road accident.

Reports indicate that the actor lost his life after being involved in a tragic crash, sending shockwaves across the entertainment industry and among fans.

Tributes began pouring in shortly after news of his death emerged, with colleagues expressing grief over the sudden loss.

Actor Akin Olaiya shared a video from the scene of the accident and described the development as heartbreaking.

“Inalilahi Wainalilahi Rojihuna. This is sad. Rest in peace, Adeshina Okiki Janmole,” he wrote.

Also reacting to the news, Mr Latin offered prayers for the deceased and condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

“May the soul of our departed colleague, Adesina Okiki Janmole, who tragically lost his life in an accident, rest in perfect peace. May God grant his family, friends, and colleagues the strength and comfort to bear this irreparable loss. He will be greatly missed. Amen,” he stated.

The actor’s death has triggered an outpouring of sympathy from members of the Yoruba movie industry, many of whom have taken to social media to honour his memory and contributions to the profession.

Adeshina Okiki Janmole was known within the Yoruba film community and built a reputation through his appearances in several productions.

His passing marks another painful loss for the industry, with colleagues remembering him as a dedicated entertainer whose absence will be deeply felt.
