The collaboration, initiated by Chairman Ganiyu Obasa, is designed to provide structured training programmes that will prepare youths for sustainable careers in Nigeria’s growing creative sector.

Accompanied by the vice chairman, council manager and members of the management team, Obasa visited Afolayan to map out a strategic pathway for youth development through the creative arts.

According to Obasa, the Agege Kunle Afolayan partnership aims to identify promising talents within the local government area and connect them with opportunities to feature in professional productions, as well as compete nationally and internationally.

The chairman added that the initiative would prioritise originality, discipline and long-term growth, ensuring participants are not only trained but strategically positioned for enduring success.

“This is about opening doors, creating pathways, and ensuring Agege youths are prepared to compete and thrive on bigger stages,” Obasa stated.
