Dotmount Communications has announced the postponement of the highly anticipated African Industrial and Development Conference and Award, AIDCA 2023, originally slated for December 9, 2023, in Abuja, Nigeria.
The decision to reschedule the event comes in the wake of the withdrawal of the keynote speaker, Bronisław Komorowski, the former president of the Republic of Poland.

In a press release issued by the organizers, Adedotun Olaoluwa stated, “Despite this change, Dotmount Communications is optimistic about the future of renewable energy in Africa. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we find it necessary to reschedule the event to ensure a seamless and successful experience for all participants.”
The conference, focused on Energy and Sustainable Development in Africa, serves as a crucial platform for government officials, business leaders, industry experts, investors, and stakeholders from across Africa and beyond. The withdrawal of the former Polish President, who was slated to be the keynote speaker, prompted the organizers to reconsider the event’s timing and logistics.
Olaoluwa expressed gratitude for the efforts and enthusiasm invested by participants in preparing for the occasion, assuring attendees that the rescheduled event will be announced promptly on the official website and through email updates. The organizers conveyed their appreciation for the understanding of all stakeholders and participants in light of the unexpected change.
“While we regret any inconvenience this may cause, we believe that rescheduling will enable us to deliver a conference that surpasses expectations and contributes significantly to the discourse on renewable energy and sustainable development in Africa,” said Olaoluwa.
As the African Industrial and Development Conference and Award team works on finalizing the new schedule, stakeholders and participants are encouraged to stay tuned for further updates and announcements.
