Chukwu, an accomplished engineer with more than two decades of experience in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry, currently serves as the Immediate Past President of the Rotary Club of Ikoyi Metro, District 9112.

He served as the club’s 24th President during the 2025–2026 Rotary year, a period in which the club implemented major community development projects and was recognised as the Overall Best Club in District 9112.

The birthday celebration also provided an opportunity for the celebrant to acknowledge the people and institutions that have played significant roles in his journey.

In his vote of thanks, Chukwu expressed appreciation to the guests who took time to celebrate the milestone with him.

“I want to specially recognise my colleagues from the NNPC family, my classmates from Ijebu Ode Grammar School, Yaba Tech, Federal Poly Ilaro, Unilag, my family, church members, ministers from the Redeemed Christian Church of God and members of the church, friends. I want to really appreciate you all for today,” he said.

Chukwu’s academic and professional background reflects a career built around engineering, management and professional development.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Lagos.

He is also a Project Management Professional and a Fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers, as well as a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.

Beyond his professional career, Chukwu has maintained an active commitment to community service through Rotary, where his leadership has been associated with projects aimed at making a positive impact in the community.
