In a detailed Instagram post, Labinjoh responded to critics questioning whether she would have pursued a DNA test if Davido had been poor. She clarified that when they first met in 2013,
Davido was an upcoming artist, not yet the international superstar he is today.
Their first encounter occurred at the Dami Duro concert after-party in Ibadan.
Labinjoh called on media personalities like Daddy Freeze to urge Davido to conduct an independent DNA test rather than publicly defending him.
She also questioned why Dele Momodu, close to the Adeleke family, had not intervened.
She recounted that Davido sent her money during her daughter’s naming ceremony in November 2013 and accused journalist Kemi Olunloyo of sending ₦300,000 annually since 2018.
Labinjoh highlighted the emotional toll on her daughter, stressing that children often become vocal when abandoned or treated unfairly.
Labinjoh insisted that Davido should acknowledge the five DNA tests allegedly conducted over the years:
- Anu Adeleke – September 2014
- Imade Adeleke – June 2015
- Hailey Adeleke – May 2017
- Dawson Adeleke – June 2021
- Ivanna Bayy – June 2023
She also claimed that Davido tried calling her during his 2025 Ibadan tour.
Social media reactions to her post were mixed. Some urged respect for Anu’s perspective, while others questioned the singer’s actions or the timeline of events.
