Apostle Johnson Suleman preaches on life’s impermanence, urging people to value faith, kindness, and purpose over fleeting material gains

Drawing from 1 Peter 1:24-25, he highlighted that human existence is fleeting, like grass and flowers, while only God’s Word remains eternal.

Speaking during a Sunday service, Apostle Suleman reminded his congregation that nothing in life is permanent.

He explained that people experience moments of joy and sorrow, gain and loss, but ultimately, everything fades with time. He warned against arrogance, urging individuals to use their time wisely and positively impact others while their season lasts.

“Life is transient,” he stated. “Don’t get arrogant with whatever you have today because nobody has it permanently. Everybody has a season; no one reigns for life.”

He stressed that the kindness and goodwill people extend during their prime will determine how they are remembered when their time passes.

The renowned preacher likened life’s impermanence to the changing stages of a woman’s beauty, comparing it to cherry blossoms that bloom briefly before withering.

He noted that no young woman remains beautiful forever, as physical changes naturally occur over time.

“No young lady will be fresh forever. Ask our mothers, they will tell. Now, everything the ladies wear fits them. But by the time they have dropped one (baby), two, three…” he remarked, reinforcing the message that everything in life has an expiry date.

Apostle Suleman encouraged his followers to recognise life’s fleeting nature and appreciate every moment.

He urged them to focus on what truly matters—faith, kindness, and purposeful living—rather than chasing temporary gains.
