The Imeko City Development Project of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide, powered by the dynamic Pastor in Council Committee on Works and Projects, is presently gathering momentum and taking giant strides towards becoming a reality. The project which is aimed at re-awakening the dream of the founder of C.C.C. W/w, Saint S.B.J. Oshoffa, seeks to develop and elevate the Celestial City, Imeko, Ogun State, into a pilgrimage hub for all celestians in particular and indeed all followers of Christ in general.

Upon completion, the project themed “Let’s Build Our Own Jerusalem” (LBOOJ) would parade such modern infrastructural facilities as a network of tarred roads, drainages, residential estates, hospitals, banks, constant electricity, pipe borne water, cathedrals, et al

No doubt, a project of this magnitude requires all members of the Celestial Church of Christ spread across the globe to join hands with the promoters of this laudable initiative to make it a reality. Contributions in cash and kind would go a long way in this regard. And the divine blessings that are bound to come from being a part of this project would definitely locate all who contribute to its success. Contributions can also be made in terms of building materials like cement, gravel, sharp sand, iron rods, wood, etc.

To this end, the Pastor in Council Working Committee on Works and Projects has taken the projects to the roots by visiting different states of the country to create awareness and ignite support for the project amongst church members.

On Thursday, 24th July, 2023, the P.I.C. Works and Projects Committee visited the Ondo State Headquarters of the Celestial Church of Christ, C.C.C. Agunloye, on a sensitization of fund raising and awareness for the Imeko City Development Project. And on Sunday, 30th July, 2023, the sensitisation campaign moved to C.C.C. Omolore Cathedral, where church members made generous donations towards the realisation of the project.

The train moved on to the Ekiti State Headquarters, C.C.C. Arch Province, Omisanjane, the following day where they were received by the Ekiti State Evangelist, Venerable Superior Evangelist A. Aladeseye. Remarkable commitments and pledges were made in support of the project in both states.

Back in Lagos, indefatigable members of the P.I.C. Works and Projects Committee were also at the International Headquarters Cathedral, Ketu, Lagos on Thursday, 27th July, 2023, to address a cross-section of church clergy and distribute flyers and other information materials concerning the Imeko City Development Project.

The Shepherds and Clergy of Ikeja Division 1 also played host to the project sensitisation team where a pledge of N10,000,000 (Ten Million Naira) was made on behalf of the division.

The campaign has also been activated in the UK, Europe, Canada and the USA, where members of the Committee are leaving no stone unturned to sensitise and raise funds for the developmental project.

The Pastor in Council Works and Projects Committee is made up of thorough-bred and seasoned professionals in relevant fields who are totally committed to this initiative. Assurance has been given that funds raised would be channelled towards the execution of the project under very strict rules of financial accountability and transparency.
