Olatubosun Alake, the convener of the conference and Commissioner for Innovation, Science, and Technology, Lagos State, emphasized the significance of AOT 5.0 in bringing together policymakers, tech enthusiasts, creatives, innovators, and ecosystem leaders. The aim is to converge and unravel the symbiotic relationship between creativity and technology, influencing the trajectory of Lagos State’s future.

He emphasized how it offers new mediums, tools, platforms, and methods for expression and problem-solving within the creative economy. “The creative economy sector of Lagos State is driven by a highly skilled and innovative workforce using technology to solve multifaceted problems with art,” Mr. Afolabi noted.

Digital art platforms have expanded the horizons of traditional mediums, enabling artists and creatives to push the boundaries of their expression through technology.
