In the ninth edition of Global Brands Magazine Awards, Mavin Global has been named the “Fastest Growing Entertainment Brand” for the year 2021.

This honor follows a remarkable year for the Entertainment firm, in which they properly handled their library of musical talents while effectively extending out into other parts of the entertainment industry.

Global Brands Magazine (GBM) is a well-known brand publication. Each year, GBM creates a set of awards to recognize firms that have distinguished themselves among industry leaders by providing great service and having a distinct vision.

Since 2009, when Kupanda Holdings invested in the label, it has grown to become more than just a music label.
With in-house experience in areas such as filmmaking, marketing, and new initiatives like as the newly launched Mavin Future Five program, the firm has begun to explore a new frontier that has the potential to revolutionize the face of the African Music Business and its broader Entertainment Industry.

“Mavin Records was selected for demonstrating unique and exceptional service delivery towards the evolving Entertainment sectors. Mavin Records received this honor for their outstanding commitment to Innovation, Quality, Branding Activities, Performance and for providing Unique Entertainment solutions in Africa” says Jason Boon, GBM’s Senior Manager of Outreach and Sales.

Boasting a roster consisting of global hitmakers like Rema, Ladipoe, Johnny Drille, Crayon and most recently, teen sensation Ayra Starr and the newly unveiled Magixx, Mavin Global is a glowing example of the rapidly growing entertainment sector in Nigeria and Africa. The company is one of the forces at the forefront of the export of Afrobeats to the global market. Categorized under Lifestyle Awards, ‘Fastest Growing Entertainment Brand, Africa’ recognises excellence in performance across industries. The award selection process uses an external research team to evaluate the nominees.

Speaking on the win, Mavin Global’s Head of Marketing, Emmanuella Nnadoziecomments; ‘This is another way of knowing we are doing something right. We are heading in the right direction. We have worked hard over the years to build Mavin into a global brand and we are only going to get even better. We appreciate Global Brands Magazine for seeing the amazing work we are doing and recognising our vision for the African Entertainment scene’.
