The campuses are calling: Bigi, Fearless turn Soundcity Ontour into a campus movement

Five campuses remain as BIGI and Fearless take music, entertainment, and opportunity to Nigerian students.

Across 15 campuses, BIGI and Fearless, in partnership with Soundcity OnTour, have transformed the campus experience into a vibrant mix of music, entertainment, creativity, and opportunity, leaving students asking one question: “When is it our turn?”

From Pan-Atlantic University, Olabisi Onabanjo University, and Yaba College of Technology to the University of Lagos, University of Uyo, University of Calabar, Obafemi Awolowo University, University of Port Harcourt, Niger Delta University, and Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, each stop delivered its own crowd, sound, and unforgettable moments.

At the University of Lagos, more than 5,000 students braved heavy rainfall to enjoy performances by Qing Madi, Falz, Joeboy, Wande Coal and Mr P of P-Square. In contrast, more than 25 emerging artistes took the stage to showcase their talent.

For Biola Arionsola, Brand Manager at BIGI, the response demonstrates the strength of the campus connection.

“The event truly set the bar. The turnout and energy of the students were outstanding, even with the weather conditions,” she said.

Yet beyond the headline performances, one of the most compelling stories from the tour is the opportunity it is creating for the next generation of Nigerian artistes.

Through BIGI Music, Rite Foods is giving emerging talents a platform to perform, compete for cash prizes, and earn a pathway towards the national stage.

At every participating campus, young artistes get the opportunity to put their talent before a live audience and take another step towards their musical ambition.

At ABU, Zaria, Olaniyi Oluwakemi Abisola, popularly known as Abisola, emerged as the winner of the BIGI Music competition.

Moses Yakubu Ibrahim, known as Bhig Moe, and Ibrahim Yakubu Binkalim, popularly known as Ibrahim Binkaly, finished as first and second runners-up, respectively. The three artistes shared a ₦1 million cash prize.

But the opportunity extends beyond the prize money. Standout performers can progress towards the national stage, where eventual winners will receive studio production, A&R mentorship led by Bankulli, Soundcity Radio exposure, and professionally produced music videos.

For Rite Foods Limited, makers of BIGI Carbonated Soft Drinks and Fearless Energy Drink, the tour represents a powerful way to connect with young Nigerians through the culture, entertainment, and opportunities that matter to them.

With performances from artistes including Teni, Falz, Iyanya, Qing Madi, DJ Spinall, Nasboi, Kunmie, Shoday, Guchhi, Priesst, Shine and TTW, each campus stop has added a new dimension to the experience.

And the excitement is spreading.

Students and institutions beyond the 15 campuses already visited are increasingly calling for the experience to come their way, making demand for the tour itself part of the story.

With five more campuses to visit before the tour concludes in Abuja in October, BIGI and Fearless are set to bring more music, more talent, more energy, and more opportunities to Nigerian campuses.

So, which campus is next?
