Blessing CEO cancer appeal as influencer seeks financial help for urgent breast cancer surgery after putting properties up for sale

Nigerian social media personality and self-styled relationship expert, Blessing CEO, on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, publicly appealed for financial assistance in Lagos after revealing the urgent need for surgery following a breast cancer diagnosis.

Speaking in an emotional video shared on Instagram, Blessing CEO, whose real name is Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, disclosed that her condition may require the amputation of one or both breasts depending on the progression of the disease.

The influencer explained that the appeal followed her earlier decision to put her Lagos mansion up for distress sale in a bid to fund chemotherapy and other medical treatments, a move that drew widespread attention online.

“I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I need help,” she said, her voice breaking as she outlined the urgency of her situation and the financial strain associated with treatment.

The Blessing CEO cancer appeal has since triggered an outpouring of reactions across social media, with many Nigerians expressing sympathy and calling for support during what has been described as a deeply challenging period.

The development also highlights the rising cost of cancer care in Nigeria, where patients often rely on personal funds or public support to access life-saving treatment.

Despite the emotional weight of the disclosure, Blessing CEO’s decision to speak openly has been viewed by some observers as a powerful and courageous step that could encourage broader conversations around health awareness and support systems.
