[dropcap]A[/dropcap]lternative finance expert and prominent blockchain advocate, Rume Ophi Alvin, has extended his deepest condolences to the royal family and the entire Udu Kingdom following the passing of their revered monarch, His Royal Majesty, Barr. Emmanuel Bethel Otete Delekpe, Owhorhu I.

In a statement released to the media, Rume Ophi Alvin, the Founder of CryptoPreacher Blockchain Academy and a leading voice in Africa’s cryptocurrency sphere, highlighted the profound and lasting impact of the late monarch.

“The news of the passing of His Royal Majesty, Barr. Emmanuel Bethel Otete Delekpe, Owhorhu I, has deeply saddened me.

His reign was marked by wisdom, dedication to cultural preservation, and a forward-thinking vision that aligned with community empowerment,” Rume stated.

Drawing parallels between the monarch’s commitment to uplifting his people and the transformative potential of technologies like blockchain, Rume added, “As someone committed to promoting innovation and education, I recognize the parallels between His Majesty’s efforts to uplift his people and the potential of technologies like blockchain.

“His reign was marked by wisdom, dedication to cultural preservation, and a forward-thinking vision that aligned with community empowerment,” said Rume Ophi Alvin.

During this period of mourning, my thoughts are with the royal family and the people of Udu Kingdom. May his legacy of unity and progress continue to inspire generations.”

Rume further emphasized the late monarch’s significant role as a stabilizing force within Udu Kingdom. He also lauded the Ovie’s strong advocacy for education and youth development, values that deeply resonate with Rume’s own mission to empower young Africans through blockchain literacy and technological advancement.

The enduring contributions of the late monarch to peace-building initiatives and infrastructural development within Udu Kingdom remain deeply etched in the collective memory of the community.

High Chief Sam Odibo, the Otota of Udu Kingdom, has officially announced a nine-day mourning period, commencing from April 17th and concluding on April 25th, 2025, in honor of His Royal Majesty, the esteemed Ovie of Udu Kingdom.
