Veteran gospel singer Bola Are visits the Adegbodu family, offering comfort and support following the sudden death of Taiwo Adegbodu
The Nigerian gospel music community was deeply moved as veteran gospel singer and evangelist Bola Are paid a heartfelt condolence visit to the family of the late Taiwo Adegbodu, days after his sudden passing.

The visit took place at the Adegbodu family residence, where Taiwo’s twin brother and music partner, Kehinde Adegbodu, welcomed Bola Are. In a video circulating online, Bola Are was seen embracing Kehinde, visibly in tears, and saying, “Iwo lo ye,” meaning “It’s only you who understands God.” This gesture offered a moment of solace to the grieving family.
Reflecting on his loss, Kehinde shared that Taiwo remained active until late the night before his passing and expressed the pain of coping with life without his twin.
The Adegbodu Twins were widely celebrated in gospel circles for their energetic stage performances, powerful ministrations, and songs that drew worshippers from churches across Nigeria, especially in the South-West.
