His tenure was marked by commitment and professionalism, earning him respect within the sector.

In a tribute, Bola Salako described his father as a deeply spiritual man who consistently placed God at the centre of his decisions.

He recalled that his father lived a disciplined life, guided by prayer and a strong belief in divine direction, while also maintaining a genuine respect for others.

“He lived a disciplined life. He never made a move without seeking divine guidance,” Bola Salako said, noting that his father’s values shaped both his family life and his professional conduct.

The tribute reflects the human side of the Bola Salako father passing, highlighting not only loss but also gratitude for a life well lived.

The family has finalised arrangements to honour the late engineer with a series of funeral activities.

An evening of worship will hold on April 16, 2026, at Chapel of Christ the Light in Alausa, Ikeja, Lagos, followed by a funeral service at the same venue on April 17. Interment will take place at Ikoyi Cemetery, after which a reception will be held.
