Bruno Fernandes matches Cristiano Ronaldo’s Man United Premier League goal involvement record after assist in win over Brentford
Manchester United captain Bruno Fernandes, equalled a major Premier League record previously set by former club icon Cristiano Ronaldo for total goal involvements for Manchester United.

Fernandes achieved the milestone after providing an assist for Benjamin Šeško in Manchester United’s Premier League victory over Brentford at Old Trafford.
United secured the win through goals from Casemiro and Šeško, with Fernandes playing a decisive creative role in the match.
According to OptaJoe statistics, the assist took Bruno Fernandes to 140 Premier League goal involvements for Manchester United, comprising 70 goals and 70 assists.
That tally matches Cristiano Ronaldo’s combined Premier League record for the club, which stands at 140 goal involvements made up of 103 goals and 37 assists.
Fernandes reached the milestone in 226 appearances, achieving the feat 11 matches quicker than Ronaldo during his time at Old Trafford.
Since joining Manchester United from Sporting CP in 2020, the 31-year-old has remained a central figure in the club’s attacking structure, consistently contributing goals and assists across multiple seasons.
