Congratulations are in order for yet another moment of recognition as one of Nigeria’s creative powerhouse Pat Obilor gets nominated for the African Peace award.
The African Peace Award is a flagship programme of the prestigious African Peace Magazine, a UK based pan- African and diaspora publication that promotes world peace, international unity and enterprise development across all sectors.
The Theatre veteran, playwright and Media personality has been nominated in the category of Theatre, Media and Humanity for her contributions to these various salient fields of Art.
It will be recalled that earlier this year, the Thespian scholar cum playwright and broadcast journalist debuts her StagePlay with an adaptation of William Shakespeare’s KingLear which was performed at the Wole Soyinka Theatre in Ibadan, with over 40 professional casts/crew.
The African Peace Award event is billed to hold in Abuja on 11th November 2021 with eminent dignitaries to Grace the occasion as Pat joins other recipients to pick her own victory plaque.
