The Lagos State Government following the confirmation of the first Corona Virus case in the state and the country as a whole has appealed to Lagosians not to misuse the social media to spread misinformation.
According to the state government, Lagosians should only rely on information from the Lagos State Ministry of Information in collaboration with the Nigeria Center for Disease Control.
Meanwhile, the executive governor of the state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, assured Lagosians that his government is well prepared to ensure the safety of the citizen as the reported case of infection is been given proper attention.
