As against the viral news of impeachment of the Ondo State deputy governor, Agboola Ajayi, the state’s legislators have distanced themselves from such action.
Recall that Freelanews reported how the state governor and his deputy had a fall out, leading to the latter defecting from the ruling party, All Progressives Congress, APC, to the People’s Democratic Party, PDP.
In a letter made available to Freelanews, some members of the house had disassociated themselves from the purported impeachment notice being served the embattled deputy governor.
The members were Iroju Ogundeji, Jamiu Maito, Rasheed Elegbeleye and Tomide Akinribido.
Others were Festus Akingbaso, Adewale Adewinle and Torhukerhijo Success.
