Cross Okonkwo wedding scam warning issued as BBNaija star alerts fans about fake wedding invite sales and urges caution
Big Brother Naija reality star Cross Okonkwo has issued a stern warning to fans over an alleged scam involving fake sales of invitations to his upcoming wedding.

Cross Okonkwo raised the alarm via his Instagram story, stating that an individual had been demanding as much as ₦500,000 from unsuspecting fans for access to his wedding ceremony.
The reality star clarified that no tickets were being sold for the event and described the individual behind the claims as a fraudster who should be reported immediately.
“Pls, no one should pay anybody money,” Cross Okonkwo wrote, urging fans to be vigilant and stressing that only authorised access cards were being issued through official channels.
Okonkwo Warns Public About Fake Wedding Ticket Scheme comes amid growing excitement surrounding his marriage to Chinonso, following their court wedding held earlier in the year.
Cross Okonkwo and Chinonso officially tied the knot on 23 February 2026, marking a significant milestone in their relationship after a widely publicised proposal in October 2025.
