At 60, Damola Aiyeola, National Vice President of the United Kingdom Branch of the Remo Secondary School Old Students Association (RSSOSA), has been celebrated by Aare Adetola Emmanuelking, National President of RSSOSA, for a life marked by faith, family, leadership and service.

Emmanuelking, in a birthday message issued on 23 August 2026, described Aiyeola as a God-fearing family man and committed leader whose years of service have made a meaningful contribution to students, Remo Secondary School and the wider RSSOSA community.

The RSSOSA National President said Aiyeola’s 60 years represented a life of purpose and responsibility, particularly through his involvement in the affairs of the old students’ association.

He praised Aiyeola’s leadership of the RSSOSA UK Branch, noting that his contribution has extended beyond holding an executive position to supporting initiatives aimed at improving students’ welfare and strengthening the alma mater.

Among the interventions highlighted by Emmanuelking are the renovation of classrooms adopted by the UK Branch at Remo Secondary School and the donation of learning materials to outstanding students in both the Senior and Junior sections.

The UK Branch has also supported holiday tutorials for SS3 students, with the programme complemented by donations of textbooks and sanitary pads to address both educational and personal welfare needs.

Emmanuelking described the initiatives as practical expressions of the responsibility former students owe to the institution that helped shape their lives.

He said Aiyeola’s leadership demonstrated how alumni associations could transform affection for an alma mater into tangible programmes that improve the educational experience of current students.

According to Emmanuelking, Aiyeola’s contribution to RSSOSA reflects the importance of leadership rooted in service, responsibility and giving back.

The RSSOSA National President also commended the wider impact of the UK Branch under Aiyeola’s leadership, describing its interventions as evidence of a sustained commitment to the development of Remo Secondary School.

As Aiyeola marks the milestone, Emmanuelking prayed for continued strength, divine protection, good health, prosperity and fulfilment.

He also prayed for God’s blessings upon Aiyeola’s family and for the celebrant to receive renewed wisdom and grace for greater responsibilities in the years ahead.

Emmanuelking expressed hope that Aiyeola’s next chapter would provide even greater opportunities to contribute to RSSOSA, its UK Branch and the continued advancement of Remo Secondary School.

The birthday celebration therefore carries significance beyond the marking of a 60th birthday. It also recognises a record of alumni service and the enduring role former students can play in improving the institution and communities that shaped them.
