Nollywood actor Daniel Etim Effiong has sparked widespread reactions after revealing that he loves his wife more than his children.
The actor made the remark during an appearance on the Masplantion podcast, where he spoke about love, commitment and family priorities.

During the conversation, Daniel explained that although he deeply loves his children, his wife, Toyosi Etim Effiong, remains his top priority.
“I mean, that’s a good question. I would say yes. I love my wife more than my children,” he said.
“My wife comes first before my children, although they have a really special place in my heart.”
According to the actor, prioritising his marriage reflects his belief that a strong relationship between spouses is the foundation of a healthy family. He noted that nurturing the marital bond helps create stability while raising children.
