Davido paternity dispute resurfaces as mother and daughter accuse the singer of bullying, threats and spreading false DNA claims
Ayo Labinjoh and her 12 year old daughter, Anuoluwapo Mitchelle, on Thursday night accused Afrobeats star David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, of bullying, threats and spreading false information amid a long running paternity dispute.

The response followed Davido’s public denial of paternity, made on Instagram and X on Thursday, in which the singer claimed he had conducted five DNA tests proving he was not the child’s father.
In posts shared late Thursday, Anuoluwapo Mitchelle disputed the claim, insisting only one DNA test was ever conducted and alleging the process was fraudulent.
Writing on her Instagram page, Anuoluwapo Mitchelle said she was devastated by Davido’s reaction to her earlier appeal for a DNA test.
Anuoluwapo Mitchelle accused David Adeleke of cursing her, bullying her and threatening to have her mother detained for seeking clarity about her identity.
The 12 year old further alleged that Davido repeatedly changed his account of the number of DNA tests conducted, describing the claim of five tests as untrue.
According to Anuoluwapo Mitchelle, her mother confirmed that only one test was carried out, which she described as compromised.
She thanked Nigerians and members of the media for their support, adding that her mother had moved on and did not appreciate what she described as false narratives.
In a separate Instagram post, Ayo Labinjoh rejected Davido’s language and categorically denied being his baby mama.
Ayo Labinjoh said she had prioritised her daughter’s mental health after years of alleged bullying linked to the dispute.
She alleged that the controversy had previously caused Anuoluwapo Mitchelle emotional distress, including fainting in school and undergoing psychotherapy.
Ayo Labinjoh also challenged Davido’s DNA test claims, stating that previous assertions of two tests had now escalated to five.
She alleged that the blood sample taken during the test was never properly analysed, describing the process as misleading and damaging.
Ayo Labinjoh further accused David Adeleke of directly contacting and threatening the child on Thursday night.
She said any future DNA test must be independently supervised and hinted at seeking international oversight.
Ayo Labinjoh stated that she would request the involvement of the United States State Department through diplomatic channels to ensure transparency.
Earlier on Thursday, Davido had dismissed the claims, stating that all DNA tests conducted were negative and insisting he had no personal relationship with Ayo Labinjoh beyond the testing process.
