Anne Burrell’s death has been officially ruled a suicide by the New York City Medical Examiner. The 55-year-old Food Network star, known for her fiery personality and culinary brilliance, was found unresponsive in her Brooklyn home on June 17

Burrell, a fan favorite on shows like Worst Cooks in America and Secrets of a Restaurant Chef, inspired millions with her passion for food.

Officials confirmed the cause as acute intoxication from multiple substances.

The night before her passing, she performed improv comedy with friends at The Second City in Brooklyn. Her family released a heartfelt statement mourning her loss and celebrating her spirit, saying, “Her warmth, spirit, and boundless love remain eternal.”

The Anne Burrell death news has left fans and fellow chefs in deep sorrow, remembering her legacy as both a teacher and entertainer in the culinary world.

Anne Burrell death has been confirmed as a suicide, according to the New York City Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.

Though she is no longer with us, her warmth, spirit, and boundless love remain eternal

The 55-year-old Food Network chef was found unresponsive in her Brooklyn home on the morning of **June 17. The fire department responded to a report of cardiac arrest at 7:50 a.m.

She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials determined the cause of death to be acute intoxication from multiple substances.

Burrell was known for her vibrant energy and bold culinary skills. She became a household name through her appearances on Iron Chef America, Secrets of a Restaurant Chef, Chopped, Chef Wanted, and as a longtime host of Worst Cooks in America.

The night before her death, she was performing improv comedy at The Second City in Brooklyn.

Born with a love for food, Burrell trained at the Culinary Institute of America, later becoming a teacher before entering television.
