The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa, has lost her cool and it’s not funny.
In an altercation with an Obidient, the former member of the Nigeria Federal House of Representatives representing Ikorodu Constituency in Lagos State and the chairman of the House Committee on Media & Publicity, could no longer stomach the Obidients and threw diplomacy out of the window.
The drama started when an award winning cartoonist,Mustapha Bulama, posted an update on his Twitter regarding the fate of British diplomats and their families in Sudan and implored Nigerian government to do the same.
“1:55GMT Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has confirmed that British diplomats and their families have been evacuated from Sudan in a “complex and rapid” operation. We urge Nigerian Govt to intensify its effort to evacuate Nigerian nationals @NigeriaMFA @abikedabiri @MBuhari,” je wrote.
The chairman of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission seemed shocked that only diplomats and their families were entitled for the rescue.
“British diplomats ! . What about the over 3000 British citizens resident there ? Complaining ! We will not rescue only our diplomats and families and leave our thousands of students. All will be back . Safely ! By God’s grace,” she boasted.

In a response, a Twitter user, @Prince_Bamidele, seemed miffed that Dabiri had to insert God into what he expected the government to take practical action and demanded accountability from her instead of calling God.
“Stop saying by Gods grace 😠, Shey nah Gods grace Buhari employ? Always full of excuses,Late comers 😡,” he responded.

“Maybe that is why you have remained stagnant and un progressive , retrogressively “ disobedient “, and laboring in vain because all you ve ever laid your hands on is by the grace of the devil you worship . Mr 83 followers,” Dabiri responded.

Many have castigated her for allowing her emotion to take over her.
