The actress reacted in a video shared on her Instagram page, expressing frustration over the spread of what she described as false and misleading information about her personal life.

Debbie Shokoya stated that she has never met Obesere in person, insisting that the circulating claims suggesting a biological relationship between them are entirely fabricated.

She questioned the credibility of the reports, stressing that the story had no basis in reality and calling on bloggers and social media users to stop amplifying misinformation.

The Debbie Shokoya Obesere father rumour gained traction online over the weekend before the actress moved to directly address it, warning that repeated false narratives can damage reputations and mislead the public.

In her response, she also expressed disappointment at how quickly unverified stories are shared, noting that many commenters fail to verify facts before reacting online.

Debbie further clarified that she never made any emotional confession or public statement about Obesere being her father, as was widely reported.

She urged content creators and news platforms to exercise caution and responsibility when publishing stories about public figures.
