The former US President admitted uncertainty over whether he will make it into heaven, despite believing he has positively impacted many lives.
Speaking to Fox News journalist Peter Doocy on Monday, Trump was asked about a previous remark where he linked ending the war in Ukraine to possibly helping him “get into heaven.”
With a smile, Trump responded, “I don’t think there’s anything going to get me in heaven, OK? I really don’t. I think I’m not maybe heaven-bound. I may be in heaven right now as we fly on Air Force One. I’m not sure I’m going to be able to make heaven.”
Despite this candid reflection on the afterlife, Trump took pride in his accomplishments, adding, “But I’ve made life a lot better for a lot of people.”
