In commemoration of the Rotary Club International’s Rotary Day of Service 2022, the Rotary Clubs of Ikeja, Ikeja-Alausa and Ikeja Central have set the ball in motion to hold a joint project for the service of humanity.
The project, tagged Don’t Be The First to Start Litering, is aimed at creating awareness, cleaning of the targeted primary school and its environment, in an atmosphere saturated with fun and good music.
To the president of Ikeja-Alausa Rotary Club, CMP Rotn. Adeyemi Shonibare-Aseperi, being a member of Rotary Club goes beyond contributing funds.
“Rotary Club is not only to contribute money and fund projects to help humanity, taking care of our environment is also very important in ensuring that humanity is well preserved,” CMP Rotn. Aseperi disclosed.
The event, which is partnered by LAWMA and Boys Brigade, would be coming up on February 23, 2022 between 7:00am and 10:00am.
All members of three clubs are expected to participate in the activity which would be holding in within the premises of Olusosun Primary School, Oregun, in Ikeja.
